After docking in mainland India once more we traveled by land to the port city of Masulipatam. In size and appearance it was very much like those cities we had seen whilst following the roadways and paths. We did not secure passage East ward as quickly as I had hoped and we were running behind on schedule. I feared that our haste from the island State would be in vain.

... this area so friendly. Families were all speaking to us and getting their children to say "hello'. We met a lovely old lady on the bridge in Changsha who told me I was beautiful and desperately wanted to have her photo taken with us. This is an area where they see many Chinese tourists, but very few foreigner tourists.
A really fantastic day, and definitely the highlight of our holiday for me!

We then went to find an Indian Restaurant. Unfortunately the one the Westin Hotel Conciage recommended was closed for the Spring Festival, but we were directed to another one, Taste of India, which was excellent, wonderful samosas and succulent chicken korma and chicken tikka.
After we disembarked from the night train we checked into the Westin and then made our way to Yuexiu Hill to visit Sun Yat Sen Monument and the Ming Dynasty Zhenhai Tower (Guangzhou Museum).

We waited 15 minutes for the results then brought the x-rays back to the doctor’s office where he met with me immediately and explained the problem.
