      ... first, at around 10 am, we had our lunch. But not the traditional order from a restaurant way. Actually, one part was a number of fire pits, stone seats and tables. Here, the students were given buckets of vegetables, meats and noodles and were charged to cook their own meals. Unfortunately, I had eat what they served up so there was motivation on my part to lend a helping hand so that I wouldn’t be served any raw meat.

      ... for 4 straight hours. Tim and I put on quite the show with our cupcake walk and there was a lot of hard selling at first, especially since a lot of the adults don’t speak English. We were exhausted by the end, but one of my mothers had made a tiramisu for us to bring home (she makes THE best!) so that helped with our recovery.

      ... Each of our classes at school was asked to come up with a simple craft that the kids could make and sell at the Winter Fair next Saturday. I decided to make the little boxes, put chocolates inside and wrap with ribbon. We usually recycle greeting cards at home but very few here so Jenny, one of our amazing support staff ordered some card stock and ribbon on Taibo (the Chinese eBay) and we started assembling Wednesday.
