Kalgoorlie Motor Home Rally
... and sealed the boxes, balanced the books and finally handed over to Richard, who said he was pleased with the way we ran it - but then, he couldn't really say otherwise could he? That night was the Closing Ceremony and prize presentation.
We joined the convoy of exiting vehicles on Monday morning, after saying our final goodbyes to old and new friends, with a feeling of sadness but glad that we would catch up with most of them again at the next rally!

You realize just how lucky we have been with all the other guides we have had..real characters, hanging on to every word they've said....
The guide kept talking about 'the boos' and 'the wok' – and I thought he was talking about 'booze' and 'work' but about half way through I realized he was talking about 'the bush' and 'rock'!!!!!!
AND it didn't help we had the most annoying German ...

Rally site is taking shape with more volunteers arriving each day and the opening to all next monday. We are finally on a GRASSED site which Oskar loves. He has also had a hair cut at $55 (mine was $15 and DB free) and now no more red dust colur or as one motorhomer here refers to it as Pilbara pink.
