Alongside me in the queue for the 19:05 bus from Berlin Hbf to Szeczin for phase 18.7 (b) of the journey to Warsaw is James. He's on the way from his home in Münster to teach English for a week in the Polish hills. I find out that like me he's into his amateur dramatics as we await the arrival of the 22:00 sleeper train at the train station later. My ream of fudged-together 'tickets' ...

After loading our finds back in the car, we walked on to a local park in the city centre which featured gorgeous alcoves and a WW2 monument. ... Karl seemed very interested, so I may see more of him in the future.

At this point, that's all I have to report. More pictures to follow once I get a german cell phone sorted out. Having T-mobile and Lebara sim cards sent here so I'll see which gets the best coverage. It's 15:45 here now, and already the sun is starting to go down, so I'm going to get out and enjoy it while I can!
