      ... before having to run to a train to transfer us to the correct terminal. Or, maybe it's because we got stung $110 on EasyJet for having one very small extra carryon bag. (those bloody teddies!)       ... after the pub crawl and haka we made our way to a pub doing a Waitangi day after party. They had pies and Kiwi beers and we availed them of both options.

      There was also a guy playing all kiwi songs downstairs which included some NZ classics like Blindspott and the Feelers.

      Sadly we had some drama here when Bex and Jamie turned up and Jamie hit on Mikayla... that girl sure does love the drama.

      ... and they didn't sell it at all. Finally she found some 'left-over' in one supermarket. She was told by one staff of the supermarket that Halloween is over, and Anna felt a bit embarrassed when the staff said so. When she told me this story, I said "Anna, you should have just told them that Halloween is next week in Asia! Maybe they will buy it." :P

      ... the tour - yay!

      The tour was great. Firstly we heard about the history and some of the performers who have graced the stage here; then into a box, 3 along from the Royal Box. Our guide takes us to what was the carriage entrance but it is now enclosed and is a bar area for patrons during intermission. The auditorium is circular and 5 storeys high from the floor to the top of the dome. It's decked out in gold and red colours but ...
