      ANOTHER Unsuccessful Venture North

A travel blog entry by henryhudson07 on Apr 12, 2015

... when it was revealed that our next destination was not London. I was forced by my own men to return home. As far as anyone else knows, I had come back by my own hand. It was demanded of me that I was to make it seem that I gave the order to turn back, as to not get my crew charged with mutiny and executed.

I doubt the Muscovy Company will want to fund my next expedition, but I assure you that my journey is far from over.

You will see families coming together after absences long and ...

Kevin disappeared again and I thought he'd found somewhere quiet to pray, but I was only half right - he'd gone down to the Crypt to the toilet! We wandered around the tourist shop and then back on the bus to the Tower of London where ...

... at home and then soon after back in Europe!

Before Christmas 2013, we had a lovely visit from Emily and Carys. It was an amazing time and we did so much and had so much fun at the jazz clubs and Christmas Carols, among many other adventures. Brad and I spent Christmas in Tenerife which was a VERY different experience from what we were used to. We loved it, but we are looking forward to our next white Christmas I think.

Trains on time through the floods of the home counties and down to Gatwick for a night at the airport. No not a new film with Ben Stiller.

Anyway up early and in to the airport for the obligatory worry whilst you get your email ticket processed and get your bags whisked off to hopefully meet with you 8000 miles later.
