Jess and Daniel who live on the Sunny Coast joined us on Thursday night, picked us up on Saturday and joined us again on Sunday. We are also privileged to have nephew, Greg and Michelle with kiddies Marcus and Charlotte join us for lunch on Sunday.....very cosy as the rain comes down.

We slept on the ground in a tent (with no zip) for our second night before departing out of the bushcamp and away from 'Mosquito City' to catch our next bus up to Hervey bay for our next adventure. ... The one freaky thing, though, has been Christmas. It's 30C but the shops are full of carols, holly, Xmas trees, laughing santas and BOGOF roast dinner deals. We were privileged to witness the turning on of the Noosa Christmas lights, a lovely tree on a roundabout near the beach bedecked in fairy lights and big colourful globe lights. ... a backpackers (Mooloolaba Backpackers) down the road. With no other plans we decided to walk over and ask if they had any vacancy and to our surprise they did!

Well today we are both knackered!!! My shoulders hurt from kayaking and we just feel tired.
So we said it was to be a relaxing day and it was!
I packed, went to Wallmart to buy a new suitcase, filled up with petrol, found car drop off place...etc etc.
