Gotta love Coolangatta airport, arrived early for our flight, as you do when travelling overseas! But alas the international departures gate is closed. People hanging around everywhere but can't get in. Finally less than 2 hours before the flight they open up, all unhappy that we seem to be ruining their day, do they forget they are getting paid for this!!! We need to get in there ...

We had decided that today we would be up early (that's a joke - we are always up early), as we want to be up at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary where we need to when they open at 8:00 am and ...

... idea what it was to be honest. It was gorgeous. It's hard to describe so I'll let the pictures do the talking. That was really the highlight of another great weekend in Queensland! We have a bit of downtime for a week or so before we go on to Melbourne, Adelaide and Cairns. After those three trips we only have 10 days left in Brisbane before we go to Perth to Rich's sister and her family. Time is flying!!
