Day 124 We were up promptly this morning after a rainy night. We had been half-woken from our slumbers by some serious downpours and rolls of thunder. This morning was still a little rainy and overcast but Jane very generously decided that she wanted to take us out for breakfast anyway. We went up to the surf lifesaving club at Elephant Rock, which had stunning views over Currumbin beach. Many of the most popular restaurant/pubs on the ...

While in the park we did a 6 km walk down a cliff, past waterfalls to a rock pool where we got to jump off rocks and swim around. Only problem was the pool was at the bottom and the car park was at the top so by the time we got back to the car we could of used another swim.

The animals she spoke to us about were a Costal Carpet Snake, Shingle Lizard, Echidna and ...

... s Paradise. Such a different perspective on the water. Such an extensive maze of canals and waterways. You could spend days cruising around here, the canals are endless. But it was time for us to get back on the road and head down to the border. We stopped at a caravan park at Coolangatta for the night, backing right onto the airport. Lovely! Nothing like the gentle roar of jet engines into the evening! ...

... and a good view'! (Might not take him next time if that's the best he can do!)

Our cabin located at the very end of the ridge of accommodation buildings gave us great privacy...leaving the curtains open provided a wonderful sunrise view from bed...too good. This place is true relaxation. Pre-dinner drinks (our BYO) along with a ...
