Evening Whale Show
Not much to say here - just take a look at the photos from this evening's whale show. Absolutely amazing.
You can see in the breach photos how close the whale was to the shore line - at the light marker by the Thieves Bay Marina.

No More Hiding...
... in the mirror, I realized that the style of clothing was making me look one or two sizes larger than I was in reality.
I had spent years trying to hide. I wore clothes that were drab and without any shape to them. If I could have blended into the woodwork, I would have. When I was younger, my favourite colours were bright pinks, teals and red. I wore a lot of red. I wore high heels (I was short and wanted to be taller) and a lot of skirts and dresses. ...

After rearranging the dining room and leaving my stuff we went to see DnD. Novy dropped me off and when I walked into the house I just got that blank look that reflects the thought of who the hell are you. It took me saying that I was David's daughter to 'Who are you?' and then 'It is Rachel' by Dough to Doreen's 'I don't know you to establish' that Doreen didn't recognise me with blond hair!! All I can say is thank God I was in Canada ...
The Adventures continue
... Center. Not a huge show, we were not ready to purchase any equipment so we were happy just to grab some business cards and wander around. The displays were not very inspiring, but I guess anything we visit after the Slow Food conference in Torino will pale. We did not see the food suppliers that we expected to find.
