A Few Days in Paradise...
... mission to a poorer community in Manila with about twenty other students. The organization we went with (Gawid Kalinga) received some medical supplies so they sponsored a day clinic. Laura, Joe, and I, along with our new friend Gertrude, were in charge of taking the weights and temperatures of all the kids that visited the clinic. ... Ivy et on va petit dejeuner, une excellente omelette jambon fromage poivrons oignons, avec des toasts. Yummy. Suis toujours un peu a l'ouest mais ca va un peu mieux. A 11 h c'est bon je suis apte a plonger meme si je sens encore le rhum coke a plein nez. Puerto Galera
... we were really disappointed that we were only going to get to see a small part of it and after figuring out how to get around we decided our best chance at seeing more was to go Boracay and fly out from there. So we fled, leaving behind the massage lady, the sunglass guy, the dvd man and the pearl seller, all of whom were convinced that we were going to buy from them on Friday.
