When I came home from work, I realised that everyone in the house had thrown out all of my food from the fridge (presumably because it went off while I was away). This annoyed me. I purposely bought un ripe veggies so they would still be good when I got home. I planned for this. Not happy Jan.
I got a pleasant surprise tonight when Martyn finally called me and I got to chat to him for a bit. Turns out that he is now an Australian. Best day ever.
... an Ice cream shop on the other side of town where her friend agreed to take a look at me. After some small talk, the doctor took and icecream spoon to push my tongue down and instantly whipped out her prescription pad (which she carries around with her everywhere) Amazing!
I needed my antibiotics now so we went to the nearest 24 hour pharmacy. It wasn't 2 seconds after I got my drugs that I ate them. Please make me better.

It was actually really good. And very unexpected. And then I soon realised it was part of the Christmas celebrations that the city had been putting on. This city knows how to party.

I got a job today working as an English teacher. Exactly what I was doing my TEFL course for, and exactly why I decided to settle down here for a little while- To get some experience teaching English and not feel like I've wasted nearly a year and a half just travelling and getting drunk.
My job is about 15 minutes form home on the bus, and I work with a cool boss Marcio who is no doubt gonna help me with my Portuguese ...
