... we een keer of 5 verblijd met een groepje rond de boot. Ze komen van ver naar je toe zwemmen.
Minder blij waren we met de duizenden vliegende mieren. De overlast viel uiteindelijk erg mee.
En nog wat beelden van rond Alvor, een heerlijk oord om voor anker te liggen.

I made it to Lagos yesterday. Its basically a beach/party town. The second place that I walked into turned out to be a really great room for 25 euros a night complete with my first english language tv of the trip. Today I spent part of the day in Sagres, the southwestern most point in europe. Good for pictures and walking really really far. Tomorrow I´m going to attempt to get to Seville.

... like it. That night we went to dinner as a group and then headed off to a bar called Joe's Garage. Everyone was dancing, drinking, meeting people just an overall good time. The bartender lit some shots on fire as girls danced on the bar. Good times.

The next day we went on a Sangria boat cruise along the coast of Portugal! It was absolutely breath taking. I've never seen water soo ...

... we hit the town. Since i got there so late, there wasnt time to check out the beach that day. All i did was go to the super market with Lorena and Natalie and i was able to obtain a 79 cent bottle of wine. OMG, and it was soo good. We did a little bit of predrinking because thats what you do before you go out. We hit a couple bars, the first one being three monkeys. This place was just down the road and it had a board with all the ppl that have done ...

... Portuguese cod dish, which was out of this world. It was our first dinner as the 6 of us, which was definitely nice.

We were a little astonished by the amount of attention we got just walking down the street. Greece, Italy no problems but for some reason a group of 5 white girls plus 1 asian girl makes an impression on the men. Not mentioning any names, but one of us was treated to a nice slap on the ass. After a few days of intense activity (lying on the beautiful beaches, and swimming. Tough stuff) We headed out for a big night on the town with our new friends, Mike and Dave from Melbs, Kelly from London - we re-named her 'Lily Allen', Asha the vet nurse from Perth, and some others who I can't remember right now - what can I say, we were pretty popular. If anyone is visiting and is able to drop off a few rings to a nearby resort. My friend owns a timeshare and the people at the resort will pay you to make it worth your while.

... shuttle bus to catch to Gatwick North terminal as the bus number and stop number printed on the ticket was completely different again to reality. Luckily, there were Network Express (bus company) on hand to save the day, but even then they didn't seem to know what was occuring and seemed to make things up as they went along anyway. We made the BA flight from Gatwick with plenty of time to spare so that's the main thing.

... i was on my 3rd lap of Lagos trying to find hostel- turns out the last pub i was at was only 50 metres from my hostel but i turned left instead of right and ended up walking for about an hour... still managed to make it back for breakfast so i was pretty stoked. After finally peeling my eyes open at about midday i decided that i was in portugal to get some surfing done and so pack the car found a board hire shop ...

A TGV had arrived a few minutes earlier and a large crowd awaited the local train. It was supposed to be a three car train (which would have been bad enough) but only a little two car unit showed up.
