Qian dao hu is poised to become a big tourist draw. I read that there are big resorts on a couple of the islands. The lake is so big that we saw no sign of any, but of course our all-day adventure only took place in one small corner of the respectably sized body of water.

Today was pretty much a waiting day. Geckos had done their usual trick of changing the itinerary to make it cheaper, so we had to hang around until 9pm to get an overnight train to Shanghai.
