... workshop just outside Juchitan, with a nice shady tree outside and did my service with the assistance of Carlos a young boy at hate MC shop. He got rid of all my waste and supplied some rag!
The road had turned a bit boring long and straight and flat, mainly cattle country. I passed my first Mexican wind farm and it was huge.
I had been toying with going to Tuxtla Gutierrez to look at the Somidero Canyon but was ...

Zanatepec, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico kunzandwanner... decorations on the intact roofs....this was the home of Pakal one of the greatest kings, we saw the exquisite sculptured sarcophagus in the museum.......it weighed 10 tons. We moved to private buses as gave us flexibility to stop a waterfalls en route to San Crisobal. We went swimming at Agua Azul falls which was special as something we haven't done before. San Crisobal was very cold indeed as in the mountains, so chose to do horse riding ...
San cristobal de la casas, Mexico mills01480... If you pay this much attention to anything you soon see a pattern emerging. They are extremely difficult to see if they are not marked. I soon realized that they are often camouflaged by the Topas Joker! They are always in the shade! Thinking way too much about the Topas, you discover that the reason they are in the shade has a direct correlation to the folks who have to hand build them in the heat of the day!
Arriaga, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico jdswedOn to Puerto Arista, a relative metropolis, plenty of shops, some of them even open! Out of high season seaside towns tend to only fully open at weekends when the city dwelling Mexican hordes descend. Found a nice little place near a smelly lagoon and not far from the beach, but sadly, as often happens in Mexico, the workers started banging around at 6am - because it´s really hot later, they start work early but with no concern for their sleeping clients.
Puerto Arista, Chiapas, Mexico ccchrissie... admire the coral reef and vast array of sea life. Some boats will stop after about an hour and you can borrow a mask, tuba and palms and jump in the sea to see up close what's out there. The captain will then attract fish with bread, so they can swim right next to you. You may need to inquire about this before. You you can scuba dive nearly everyday at la reserve cousteau regardless of your level. Check out http://www.heures-saines.gp for more information.
Guadeloupe, Guadeloupe plasmoid... it that way, the DJ was awesome, definately the best DJ I've heard in a long time - Paris style. It's weird, that night is so far back in my memory.. or maybe it's just the fact that I'm exhausted. I remember a lot a lot of dancing, I remember laughing with Dom and hanging out outside with Vanja. I remember dancing a bit too close with Philippe and I remember Joc inviting me to have dinner and I remember three really really young mexican guys. It was an amazing ...
Guadeloupe, Guadeloupe tini1985... and once trying to stab him. Insane. I was definately shooken up though so me and Kathy just had a girls night out going to the Yacht Club in Gustavia. Great idea actually just winding down and hanging out and met up with Cedos & his friend Virginie then ended up getting a ride back from the doorman Vanja, such a sweet guy and went to the beach with Cedos. So here I am again, two hours left before work. A bit scared. See ya.
Guadeloupe, Guadeloupe tini1985... imagine some of the guests were getting a little loud. We finished the day with a long anchor for snorkeling and swimming in a private bay. There was a house here that has a beach on both sides and is rented for about 1200 Euro per week - ideal for a family reunion or a get-together among friends. It looked like it had at least 4 rooms. We took the boat back to Gosier in foul weather with lots of bumps. We even saw a twin cyclone (like a ...
