... to hear how they lived. As we were leaving there was a bit of an incident with two American tourists (with their baby) loudly berating the staff to let them in just before closing. Doing a fantastic job as ambassadors for their great nation! Mr George felt to point out they were embarrassing in the defence of the poor staff member. Other than the international incident it was a nice wee outing.

... since my days sharing a room with 40 other men in the Swiss Army. It was excruciating, even for Sam Jackson who is normally immune to malodorous smells. Unfortunately, our window didn't open and there was nowhere else for us to go, so we just had to wait it out. Vondelpark, called the "green lung" of the city, was two blocks from the apartment in a different direction. It is a 200+ acre park in the city. We dodged a few bicycles on the way to the park but made it in one piece. It was beautiful. Tiffani felt her heart pang. She was falling in love! It looked like it was out of a page in a storybook. Open green spaces, flowers blooming, and people walking like they had ...

... surely the line would not be as long, and then go back to the Van Gogh museum later.

One our walk to the Rijksmuseum, we walked through a lovely green park area with small food and drink stands, a fountain, and various pieces of modern sculpture. We stopped to snap some pictures and grab a hot dog and hamburger. Once we got to the Rijksmuseum, we saw that the line was just as long as at the Van Gogh Museum, if not longer. But it moved relatively ...
