The Taurus mountains were still snow capped and Osman told us a little about the rich flora and fauna of Turkey. We have actually seen remarkably little wildlife at all, and this afternoon all I saw was one stork coming in to land and a dead hedgehog by the side of the road.

It was with some relief that we bowled up at the Vera.

Spent a chilled day sleeping in till 10, walked to the sea and enjoyed the sun. Relaxed at Alla place then went to eat pide and go walking. Finally home for dinner and off to catch my midnight bus to bodrum. The bus is full, the road is windy and around mountains and I speak two words in Turkish! Lol ...
