Tomorrow see´s me hit my 1st mammoth journey of the trip which involves 3 hours back to Rio and then an immediate connection to the Iguazu falls on the border of Argentina. I´m told that section only takes 23 hours by bus so should be able to fit it nay on 1,300 "are we nearly there yet"s.
Anyhoo, I´m off to have dinner and a belly full of Skol with Mack (from Oz) so until next week, stay lucky travel bugs

From Pipa to Jeri and beyond!

Ok! So in the last couple of weeks Nat and i went from Pipa to Jeri. We had a VERY relaxing time- lying on the beach almost every day and doing nothing- until the weather made Jeri unpleasant in our last couple of days there (this was when we decided to go book into a 5 star hotel in Fortaleza for 2 nights before our flight back south!) To keep things as brief as possible-

Hang gliding over Rio
After being disappointed and let down yesterday on Elisha's Birthday, today the weather was fine and our taxi picked us up on time. We set off in the stinking heat of the sweltering taxi, with all 5 of us (our English friends Ollie and Luke) and us, plus the driver, with his boring music...not a great rev up for the flight ahead. As we neared Pedra Bonita (the mountain we are jumping off) ...
