... of pinnacles, ridges, ravines and canyons made of softish claylike mud embedded with gravel of all shapes colours and sizes, reminiscent of views in Utah, just missing that red colour. can imagine they must be particularly stunning with a backdrop of blue sky, but even on a grey day they were impressive.

Our first day in Geraldine proved to be a little cloudy and wet so we opted for a drive to Peel forest for a walk or two. There are some giant trees there that are hundreds of years old and they really are huge! It was impressive to witness, but it wasn't what it once was even 5 or so years ago, it was receding at an alarming rate in which we were lucky to even see it exist. Hello readers from NZ again. We have finally realised that a couple of hundred years ago the Maori people sent all of the "y"s and many of their vowels to Poland. In return they received almost all of Poland's vowels. Neither country sought the return of their alphabet pieces so today every place name in Nu Zelund has an inordinate number of vowels.
