... But she didn't wanted to do it alone. A few drinks later and we were down in their office signing JC and Lavinia up for a morning jump the next day. Julie came along to watch, and she has probably never been so scared in her life, just getting the cable car out to the platform that was just held up by wires. JC was the first one to jump and he didn't even hesitate! Lavinia was next and she was just as tough!

After a 3 hr drive through some fantastic picturesque scenery we arrived in Omarama - arguably one of the glding capitals of the world to indulge Mike's passion for gliding.
We checked into our delux Motel late in the afternoon, introduced ourselves to the gliding folks and tucked into a counter meal at the local pub (followed by a few duty free gin and tonics!).
