Our farewell dinner with Peter and Jan was shepherd's pie with the leftovers from the first night, perfect!. And they delivered us to the cruise terminal at the exact time on Sunday morning. Embarcation was routine, very professional.

Quaint Fishing Village

Today was a sweater day but sunny. Our tour guide Daniel was from Ireland (Teaching English in Germany and tour guiding on the side), this tour was just us and it was fantastic. We first walked through the village of Warnemunde then hopped on a train to Rostock.
Rostock was a very old village with parts of the original wall and towers still in tact. There was a church (St. Mary's) here with an astronimical clock.

Warnemunde, which literally means "mouth of the Warnow", is a seaside resort and the northernmost district of Rostock, (although the people in Warnemunde will tell you that they do not "belong" to Rostock). Politics wherever you go. It is situated on the Warnow River in the northeast of Germany.
