... We found a nice place for lunch down by the water and enjoyed a nice long lunch of pasta and wine. Tonight we are eating out and can pick from a few local restaurants that our tour director has recommended. Tunnel after tunnel we went through. We were then into more open countryside where the Italians grow their rice. They are harvesting now and the crops look pretty good. ... warm and very hazy so couldn't see the lake at its best. differed from Lake Como as there were no lime and elm trees in abundance.

Back to Milan for our last night. Made sure we had an Italian dinner - pizza, pasta and risotto. The manager then offered us a complementary Limoncello but John partook and sculled it down.

Tired as - our Italian excursion is almost at an end.
