... Sunday, the cathedral was in use (go figure!) and not open for visitors until 12:30, so we walked the rest of the way to the Viking Ship Museum located on the Roskilde fjord. Learning of the day – not all fjords are deep channels of water surrounded by tall mountains. The Roskilde Fjord is, on average, less than three meters deep, very broad, and surrounded by flat (Denmark is a pretty flat place – must be why there are bikes everywhere). ... change (and fries) and were able to buy a ticket. It was such a nice visit and nice to spend time with someone from home.
In the afternoon, my roommates and I went to tour the Carlsberg brewery. This involved me taking the Danish public transportation for the first time. What to do now? Go back the way we came and quickly ...

... us to a delicious meal, and I may or may not have devoured steak and potatoes at two in the afternoon. Once we finished lunch, we walked back to the hotel and got freshened up! Had a hot shower, and relaxed for a bit while Carolyn got some work done. Around five, she came up to the room and invited us to go for a drink with her and her colleagues. We ended up going to this bar where you just stood up at a table, and they just kept bringing you beers! They only have one kind of ...

... were cute. Next we looked at the Puffins and fatty Penguins.

After that we went out side and looked at the other polar bear and the sea lions which were really hard to see cause they were under the water most of the time, we moved further down and we saw some brown bear, 1 was a cub and we think that the other was the mother or father. As we walked back up since it was a dead end we saw a type of moose. One ...
