... It looks like we will be very comfortable for our two week stay.

I'm looking forward to staying in one place for awhile. Last week was busy, so need to slow down.

After Selwyn and Robyn left, we unpacked and walked into town on the boardwalk in search of food. We had burgers and beer at the Grill on the Beach. After dinner we picked up some milk before walking back home. The good news is that we recognized the apartment ...

It was pretty cool to see this huge sand patch in the middle of a rainforest right on top of the hill so you could see the whole of the Everglades and even the sea! So then we all chilled out on the sand patch and talked some more before setting off on our 6km walk back through the rainforest, to do a 7km canoe ride back to camp. We we're out for hours, with no food, little ...

When we were all back at the cafe we prepared fresh sandwiches for the show and made sure other things were ready, we packed up the car and headed for the house! Drue and Chris treated us to a pizza takeaway which was awesome (thanks guys!!) and we kicked back and relaxed for the remainder of the evening. We watched the film 'Bad Neighbours' before calling it a night around 10pm! ...

... It was just too bad that we didn't had the greatest weather or stayed overnight, especially after hearing other people had and they had a great time. We then stopped at rainbow beach which was beautiful - the sand dunes on the coast are all colored red and orange so that was really cool to see. We drove along the beach and saw all the daring campers who literally camp on the ocean's coast (cool but I think I'd only due it for one night).

... but the surfers look good. The second half of the walk is through the jungle where you sometimes see wildlife. If I am honest we were not looking massively for wildlife, but actually just walking at a good strong pace so we felt like we had exercised a bit. We come across a very large yellow and black spider and a few turkey but that is all. Once we get ...
