    ... Domingo airport to 30 degree heat and high humidity. I was picked up by minivan and driven 2 hours to the mine site with 3 other contractors. The car ride was nail biting. Not one vehicle looked road worthy. Some are held together with sticky tape. The motorbikes, cars and trucks seemed to move under no rules. Our taxi driver was driving at high speed. I stopped looking out the front window and try to think happy thoughts. hmmmm, nope, all out of ...

    ... this was written on Wednesday……..thanks to my amazing sister, I have figured out my courses and it really wasn’t too *******ce I opened all the attachments in my emails.

    Ugh, just said bye to my fam, not fun at all, but I am more excited to be seeing them in Venice in May. I am finally starting to feel excited, although it still feels surreal. I am just about ready to begin the adventure of a lifetime!

    ... 51st floor Panorama bar gave a contrasting view from the North of the city, and all the more contrasting as heavy rain rolled in whilst at the outdoor (thankfully covered!) bar. Quite an experience being outdoors at the top of a skyscraper during heavy rain! But thankfully Toronto delivered little rain during my week's stay.
