... but he declined.
We are about to head off to a Minoan archeological site but it is raining now. Apparently there have been flash floods in Athens, where we go tomorrow. This may be good as it will clear out some of the dirt we first saw, or else it will leave a "ring around the tub" effect on the city streets. Either way, we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves, drinking too much wine and spending beyond our means.

... from planting to harvest season. We finished our wine tour and Paul had made me a small bouquet of fresh wild flowers. I think he and Eugenio were as pleased with us being their passengers as we were to be their tourists. ... city, Fira, and then had a leisurely descent down the other side. We dropped our new friends off at their place and then we continued on to our place – Villa Gambas. The time was now 1.30am and the owners were just leaving for the night. They were very friendly as they showed us to our room, over the restaurant, and bid us goodnight.

A huge sleep saw us waking and walking downstairs to our own beachside restaurant for breakfast at around 10.30am.

... nice photos - we ended up hitting it off with a small group from Ottawa (small world). We then went to the hot springs in the center island and had dinner off the volcanic center. Evelynn was pretty cute swimming for the first time with her old-school life jacket the entire day. From there we took the party boat back to port where we were able to catch an amazing sunset along the way.
