A curry and a pint or two
... 14,000 people, one of the smallest cities in the UK. We were both quite hungry so we walked into a restaurant called Oriental Origins that was basically Chinese cuisine. It was reasonable. The King Prawns in Soy Sauce were the highlight. There weren't many other customers for a Friday night, though. Scotland to London via Wales

Train to Glasgow, then south along the west coast to Perth, then west into Wales until we got to Llandudno (which can be pronounced several different ways). Dinner at the Paladium, which would not have been out of place if we had showed up with a busload of tourists. Still, a nice reuse of the old theatre.

Been set the challenge of wearing that shirt in every place we visit, see what I can do, it certainly seemed to work at the party!!!! Might be a bit difficult though especially in NewZealand where we are travelling most days.

Just 3 days to go, so excited now. Can't believe that the planned stike by UKBA
is on our original departure date. Can't risk being delayed, the news is saying
by up to 12 hours and with our flight being late in the evening I can just
imagine that we might even get cancelled until the next day. With a short stay
in Hong Kong to start with ...
