With our group of study abroad students, we took a day trip to Conwy. Conwy is a medieval walled town in North Wales. On our way to the castle, there was a tent set up for an organization which rehabbed owls and falcons. We had the chance to pet the owls and Amanda got to hold a young baby owl. Left our rabbit warren of a hotel with no lifts & lots of stairs & small rooms. We had to lug our bags up and then down flights of stairs and you could easily get lost in the maze of corridors. The room was small with barely room to open our our bags. Although small it was nice to not have to step into a bath to have a shower.

Our tour guide had suggested we meet at a pub called the Black Boy for dinner which served traditional Welsh food but there was a one and a half hour wait for a table when we arrived so we went to a nearby Wetherspoons for a meal.
