... to join our half-day safari. The safari included dune bashing, sandboarding, a camel ride, henna, shisha, belly dancing and a bbq. Dune bashing was phenomenal. 4x4ing up one side of sand dunes, down the other, side ways across steep dunes, fast and furious style. It was a rush. ... in front of us and another two teenagers next to us… it will be funny flight. But even this has the “other side of coin”, the plane is almost new and very comfortable (Airberlin A330). BTW I’m writing this a while after our take off from Dusseldorf so for now I’m going to watch some film and sleep (if the children allows). Hopefully I’ll wake up tomorrow at Abu Dhabi.

Every thing is very dusty because it is built on a desert so there are a lot of sad storms. I can understand why all the houses are made out of stone or block. Because of the extremely hot climate if they were made out wood the wood would burn.
We leave here tomorrow and have a 8 hour flight to London so I am glad that I am better for the trip. Look out London here we come! ...

... and styles quite incredible. Our hotel, the Al Raha Beach Resort is a considerable distance from Abu Dhabi city itself, but really quite an oasis. It has a fabulous outlook over the corniche, huge outdoor pool and exercise area, not to mention the biggest room I have ever stayed in, and we are only in a superior room, would hate to think how big the Presidential Suite would be.
