... it, I couldn't stomach the thought of another drink. The focus was therefore on filling our bellies which was really easy to do as the portions were healthy and the food delicious. After being so well behaved at dinner we decided to head over to the bar near Vaughan's work where his colleagues were all having drinks. It was so nice to finally get to meet them all and was the perfect end to a really good ...

... poppies are red and they flow out the castle window looking like blood. It's just breathtaking. After the Tower of London I was heading back to meet the group at pizza express promptly at 5:30 for dinner. I made it just in time and they were all waiting for me. Pizza wasn't my idea of a meal in London, but we have lots of picky eaters so it worked out. The food was ok, some things were better than others. Washing clothes tomorrow, oh joy! Ka kite ...

Because we had flew through different time zones my body was tricked into it still being Australian time. We had breakfast at a nearby store called M & S (Marks and Spencer), which is a popular department store in London was great to get back onto solid ground after the long flight, and what better ...

Had a magnificent breakfast at the hotel before sending dad off with William to head for the hills. William escorted dad to paddington station where his train was leaving from. As soon as dad had left jenny and I went just down the road to watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace. The police in attendance kept on announcing to the crowd to watch your bags - "while your watching the action, someone behind you is watching your bag" whilst we were ...
