... Heiligenblut, Lienz Good ride, sleet and rain at the top of Grossglockener. We did it - no probelms on the GrossGlockner pass and just stunning views. Only sleeting a lttle bit at the top (trying to stay positive!) Found the hotel that my parents stayed in Dobbiaco. ... was placed on Cima Grande in 1915 to light up the Italian assault. The walk today was over 8km but I didn't find it to be a hard walk and even if it had been, the scenery was so magnificent that it would have been worth it - the Dolomites are certainly spectacular.
