... It's well worth having a look, even if it has been partly obscured by some rather ugly modern developments nearby.

Visitors who take a walk 203m up one of the hills in the old town can travel back 5000 years and experience Plodiv's oldest ancient site, the Ruins of the Thracian Settlement of Eumolpias. Originally a hill fort and ...

We take a tortilla, put my favorite Barilla pesto on it, then add avocado, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and cucumbers. It is amazing. When Zach visited he said meat would make it better..but no. I haven't eaten much meat in BG at all. I don't trust some of it and I don't prepare it ...

баба in Bulgarian means grandmother. There are numerous babas all throughout Bulgaria. For some reason, I get along with the babas very well. One day I was running to the track and I saw an old woman, hanging on to a tree branch, and mumbling. There appeared to be some kind of wig or cotton on her head. I instantly had a bad feeling in my stomach so I just ran past her without making eye contact. I told some of my students about this odd woman and they told me she ...
