    ... 50 metres to another courier place and translated for us as we asked the price to send 4 kg of unwanted winter clothes and souvenirs back to the mother land. About 37 Bulgarian Lev or $30.     ... was beautiful and classy..they went all the way to Istanbul to get it. Insane! At the square it seemed the whole town was out to see the graduates. It reminded me of a red carpet event. They would pull up in fancy cars and then walk down the aisle. It was like our prom walk-in..except with more hairspray and sequins if you can believe it.     ... I went to school a little confused and creeped out. I asked one of the teachers and she told me when someone dies in the apartment building the top of the coffin is put outside so people know someone has died there. When someone dies in Bulgaria they leave the body in the bedroom and that is where people come to visit with the family and say their goodbyes.
