We have a flight tomorrow from Sardinia to Trapani in Sicily. We have to drop off the rental at 10.00 am then catch our flight on Ryan Air at 12.10 lunchtime. Today we got up and decided to just go into a smaller city nearby, Oristano, probably the third largest city here in Sardinia. GPS got us in not too far from the Tourist info centre which was a good start. ... with olive oil. Next out came some small fish cakes, some crumbed and butterflied mullet as well as a hot grilled fish which we pulled apart with our forks! What a feast , we were so full and then he bought out Tiramisu to finish. It included our wine also which was a Vermentino and the whole dinner and wine costâ‚¬54.
So good to have local knowledge about these places otherwise you're just flying blind, really good experience!
