After an uneventful drive, we arrived in Bressanone(Brixen) in the evening, just in time for some home cooked food prepared by friends, followed by a game of cards played with an interesting deck of cards. Hoping for better weather we went to bed with the aim of reaching Belgrade the following ...

What a pleasant surprise package this was. We stayed at a beautiful guest house in Valle Felicita owned by two gorgeous young Italians with 2 kids. It was a home away from home and as such we decided to stay 4 days. We had intended travelling to Venice from here but John has been unwell with flu so we stayed put so he could rest. Today we woke early to have breakfast before our taxi came to take us to the train station. We were running a tad late due to the overly relaxed concierge and when we arrived at the station were in trouble for being only 2 mins early for the bus. We had a 'heart attack but delicious' hot chocolate and a fruit and custard slice that was very yummy! We were very lucky as it was another spectacular day - blue skies, scattered clouds, hardly any wind - Perfect! We took some photos and then took the cable car back down the mountain. We skied for a bit more before stopping for lunch outside in the ...

... clipped/strapped in and started to tackle the slope. The first part was ok until we got to a part that was a very steep gradient. Ash decided that it was a bit too steep and was out of her comfort zone and couldn't go any further. I will admit it was steep with people zooming past and it was also pretty narrow so not much room for turns. We had a few emotional moments of being stuck on the mountain, not being able to go back up or down. After ...
