Easy flight with Easyjet, arriving a bit early at 13.05. The owner of our B & B picked us up at the airport as taxis are impossible to find. The traffic was a nightmare for such a small island. Only 5 rooms in the B & B and not quite as billed on booking.com but very pleasant and with a lovely terrace overlooking the windmills and sea just across from our room. Beautiful sunset and a great meal at a fish taverna to start the holiday. Weather is hot and sunny for ...

See red beach, go to the local brewery naturally an drink some donkey beer, check out fira an some nice nice meals! Good relaxing times. Then a 7 hour ferry home, an sadly time to say goodbye to the two Hannah's, baretis an Dougy. Back to the crew of 6, an jake hasn't been broken into! ...

... have known it would take long with that comment. Several calls and almost two hours later, we were picked up by a young Greek guy.
When we told him we were from Texas, he said "oh, I am scared of you now" and made the universal sign for gun shooting! Then, as he drove us out of the harbor town of Parikia, he told us he had been in a motorcycle accident a few years back and had been in a coma. His eye was still messed up and he had to go to the hospital ...

We all spend the morning lying around in whatever shade we can find, having packed our rooms and checked out to wait in limbo for the time to catch our next ferry. Some people need reminding of how they got home from partying the night before, but the whole tour group has become pretty close so we were looking out for each other. A lull in an air conditioned ferry gives some time to recount some observations of Greece I skipped previously. First is the strange plumbing - the pipes ...
