We had a bit of time to explore here as well, so i walked along the beach, explored the town, got a gelato and wandered around some more. ... slowly became more and more crowded.

Mykonos seems to be a distinct place in Greece, its somewhat manufactured cosmopolitan air of sophistication being another sharp contrast from the more quaint and traditional fishing villages you might find elsewhere in the Greek islands. We all spend the morning lying around in whatever shade we can find, having packed our rooms and checked out to wait in limbo for the time to catch our next ferry. Some people need reminding of how they got home from partying the night before, but the whole tour group has become pretty close so we were looking out for each other. A lull in an air conditioned ferry gives some time to recount some observations of Greece I skipped previously. First is the strange plumbing - the pipes ...
