On the ship until 2.30 when we left by tender for the short service to Mykonos, one of Greece's most popular tourist islands. Here we wandered for an hour with Cindy & Mike before grabbing a well deserved beer in a cafe overlooking the famous windmills, formerly used to grind the island’s grain. ... 447 chapels in Mykonos, population of 3500, 3 or 4 priests. The priests are called upon to celebrate "Name Day" at the persons selected chapel. Name day is more important than your birthday, you invite guests to the chapel and serve wine and food, which are the gifts which they bring, or you take them out to your own home. Name days are to be remembered and taken seriously. If you forget someone's name day you will not be spoken to again!

Although it was very hot, we still got in some shopping. Off to Istanbul now. ...

But, upon stopping into Misento, I was first struck by onyx in silver cuff links and then, a pair with gold bird's nests embraced in sterling frames. I was torn between them and, desiring not to be torn, I bought them both. I am well pleased with them and with myself because this is something that ...

... Kell and Steph I'm a little sad for this tour to end. I have made some friends that I wish I got to spend more time with, some lovely personalities and have made me realise this trip really is a once in a lifetime experience. Made travelling alone seem easy, especially when everyone is just wanting to see the sights and have some fun! As we say, live with no regrets. Gosh I'm so thankful I finally did this trip, been years in the making and it's still so surreal that I'm ...
