The view from the ship of traditional white houses with blue trim was unmistakeable Greek! We took a water taxi from the ship to Mykonos to walk around town and enjoy the picture-postcard views. ... it we thought it an idea to get some fresh air and scope out somewhere for dinner.Being Sunday and being end of season Naxos was exactly how we imagined Mykonos would have been with very little open and of those that were very little interested us.
In the end we did the unimaginable and again grabbed some noodles for dinner and headed for home.

Eventually we found the building but it is now a souvenir store and had been for some time, this certainly left us scratching our heads.With time getting on we finally stopped and enjoyed the last hot rays of the afternoon sun with a coffee and a tea before grabbing some supplies, picking up our washing and heading for home.The night was once again ...

the back alleys of Mykonos. Had a gyros platter and pita and took
some pictures before heading back to the hotel. I was feeling pretty
terrible from this stupid cold and couldn't wait to get back and do
nothing. The weather was a bit windy and overcast but there were
still some rays of sunshine so we went out to the pool and read for a
little while. It was great having absolutely nothing to do, and such
a beautiful location to just relax. ...
We all spend the morning lying around in whatever shade we can find, having packed our rooms and checked out to wait in limbo for the time to catch our next ferry. Some people need reminding of how they got home from partying the night before, but the whole tour group has become pretty close so we were looking out for each other.
