... fear and paranoia did get the walls built and like today assisted in draining resources the city-government- could have used else where. Like widening the streets. This morning we woke up in Chania, Crete. We had been to Crete some years ago but were on the other side of the island. It was OK then but it was nothing to rave about. ... I am not sure how, we must have been tired, plus a lot of things on both our minds (with A.C. of course and more), so immediately we freak out because we have no idea where to get off next. We grab my phone out and realise there is WIFI on the buses… well durr!! Why didn’t we think of this earlier.. so we load the map and realise we are well on our way to no mans land.
