An easy day for site seeing
Slept far more easily last night, having become far more accustomed to the noises of the plateau.
With no real plans we breakfasted and then went on tour - firstly to the church where Joseph was christened, then the windmills on the ridge overlooking the plateau and then to lunch by the big tree.

Day 99 - Elounda
... night here, and two nights there over the past few months, we thought a 6 night stay would be like putting down roots, but unfortunately it is over so quickly.
We spent the evening in the same fashion as all the others since we arrived by eating Greek food overlooking the water. The stuff memories are made of, and ones that we will remember for a long, long time no doubt.

... there are quite a few fish, but nothing particularly colourful.
We had lunch at a restaurant set back on the rocks near to where we were snorkelling, which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It is totally separate from the town and hotels so must rely on looming like an oasis in the desert for people going for walks in the hills and in need of an ice cold drink.
