    We had an enjoyable few hours in the Gardens before the next part of our journey, Tisbury, another town pertinent to the Burt family especially the now Boot Inn, a 17th century pub where one of Mary's brothers was brought to trial during the "Swing Riots" & then sent to Australia ...

    Early start this morning, on the road by half past seven. Traffic was really heavy for the first half hour after leaving Poole. We arrived at Stonehenge a little after nine.     ... we wanted! As we arrived in Wimborne the church bells were ringing - it is Sunday afterall. Pubs everywhere in this town though! We found a comfy B&B and put our feet up!
