As we drove up into the Alps towards the city of Innsbuck, the snow began to fall with greater ferocity, doing much more than merely coating the trees and countryside. and then to Karsplatz area. Stopped for latte machiato with another
local delicacy - rasberry with jelly and cake. We then walked back to
the hotel. One peculiar thing is that most shops tend to close early
except the beer gardens and halls. Even cafe close early. There is also
no many major wifi connected cafes. Even the hotel charges even for

... Caught the train back home & in the unit by 9:30 watching Germany play Ireland in the soccer.
Not sure what we will do tomorrow, depends on the weather. Was thinking of going to Garmish in the south, Germanys highest mountain, but they have had 35 centimetres of snow and all roads are closed. Schools are closed there because trees are falling over due to snow as the leaves have not fallen as yet. So may miss that one for the time being.
