    ... so nobody can say it didn't work). We spent about half an hour in the apartment before Benjamin took us to the English Garden. We took two buses and a tram. I didn't even know that Munich had a tram network as well as everything else. We went to a beer garden beside the Chinese Tower in the Garden.     We are officially unpacked and settled into our German apartment! It is has not been easy living out of a suitcase the last few weeks, but we now have a place to call home! I absolutely love this apartment. It has a nice warm, welcoming feeling. The windows throughout the apartment make it bright and breezy, which I love! I am looking forward to some nicer weather so we can enjoy the deck.

    After an easy connection in Dusseldorf, we arrived in Munich. Another marvel of European travel, we jumped on the train at the airport and took it to about 6 blocks from our hotel. After we checked in, and discovered there is no a/c, we took a quick shower and headed out for dinner. Had to order our first German beer! Nice and cold. It's about 8:30 and we're going try to sleep.
