      ... VAB) was fascinating. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we even saw alligators, a bald eagle's nest and sea turtles. We didn't realise that Kennedy Space Center contributes so much effort and money into conservation and that it spans 34 miles of untouched coastal land. I guess the launch pad needs to be in the middle of nowhere as the rocket creates 7.6 million pounds of thrust at lift off.

      The last ride of the day was The Tower of Terror. Walking into the building creeps you out a bit because it's a run down hotel from 1939 or something like that. There are thick cobwebs over all the furniture and fixtures. You can see that it once was a beautiful place.
