    Don't do it to yourself

    from

I stayed here for a week. Myself and the individual I sayed with got things stolen from our room including cloths and half a bottle of liquor. Boozed up maids I guess? On top of that, when I got back home I noticed that they charged my credit card twice for the room. I had to call them and make a big deal about it. I got my money back but there was no way I could prove anyone stole my personal items. Not to mention the rooms were not worth the money. I would advise paying a few extra bucks to stay somewhere a little less shady.

Horrible Motel! Do Not Stay Here.

    from

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Aside from the screaming children that would bang on the windows and doors early in the morning [after I repeatedly asked the parents to have their children play elsewhere and asked the front desk to kindly call and ask them to do the same] and the couple next door that had loud sex in the next room over, the staff was rude and unaccomodating. One day after housekeeping had cleaned the room there was a towel hanging in the bathroom with bloody boogers on it. No joke. At night people would stand outside our room and drink beers, etc. Also when you get there they tack on a $2 a day fee for a room safe whether you use it or not. GRIMEY! You get what you pay for in this circumstance. You pay less, you get less. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Been to worse down the road from here

    from

We spent two nights here, after having reservations at the Days Suites Maingate down the road. Days Suites were horrendous. So we checked out Knights Inn, our room was in need of remodel, but my parents room had just been redone. Theirs was great for the money ours was so-so. Hopefully they are remodeling all their rooms. If I was on a tight budget I definately would stay here again. I would definately ask to be placed in a remodeled room.

Staff was pleasant and had a small continental in the morning.

    Great Room for the price

    from

Great value for the money. Bathroom - recently renovated. Carpet recently changed. Comfortable bed. Frige, micro, table & 2 chairs and safe in room. Stayed for 4 days so having all of this was great. Made micro popcorn to watch late night movie - very convienient. They also offered free shuttle service to the Orlando attractions which was also great - no hastle with driving and parking. They had a heated pool and the staff was very pleasant and accomidating. The only down side was the Contenintenal breakfast was just donuts coffee and juice. I will stay there again when I go back to Disney.

    Horrible!

    from

I have been travelling for three weeks through Florida, Mississippi, Tennesse, Georgia etc. and this was by far the most awful motel on the whole trip. I stayed there some years ago, and everything was okay. But this time everything was completely run down. The room had a very bad smell, curtain and safe were broken. I found a - probably used - pillow cover on the floor etc. etc. And furthermore very strange people were hanging around on the premise. I did not even feel safe! I decided to leave, even if I did not get a refund for the two nights I booked and stayed next door at the Amerihost. It was much better and just slightly more expensive.

    Good deal!

    from

This is not a top class hotel but the price / quality is good!! The hotel is located just one or two miles from the entrance of Disneyworld! The staff is friendly, and if there is a problem they will solve it! We stayed here three times now, in 1999, 2002 and 2004! Never had problems with roaches or other creepy animals! In 2004 they were renovating the rooms also. Once again this is not a state of the art hotel but for us it is good enough!!! We will stay there again in november 2005!!

    Dump/roach motel

    from

this place should be condemned !! it was so disgusting!! smelled of mold...smear marks ( of what we dont know ) all over the walls...fridge spoiled our milk....you pay extra for room to be cleaned and its not!!!!! found leaves and plastic in our beds.....bugs all over...DO NOT SHUT OUT THE LIGHTS....this place is full of roaches !! Oh...and from my kids....the pool is dirty and not heated!!! EEEEWWWW it was terrible

    Horrible motel

    from

This was a last minute trip and Knights Inn was the only available reservation we were able to get at a reasonable price. We arrived late at night, and even tried to book another hotel at 2:00 a.m. in the morning. Unfortunately, our 3 night stay was prepaid, and non-refundable. We ended up leaving after the first night, and losing the cost of the last 2 nights. IT WAS THAT BAD!

The hotel was run-down and dirty. Remote control was given to you at check-in and you were asked to return at check-out. The towels were as thin as paper towels, there were no cups or other amenities. To top it off, we were gone the entire next day, and when we returned for our bags at 11:00, nothing had been done to the room (beds not made, no towel changes). The room smelled of mold and mildew and we were afraid to open the old fridge for fear that something live would jump out. The one good thing was that there were no bugs observed in the room.

After much searching and waiting, we finally ended up checking in right next door at Amerihost, which was definitely a step up!

    We get what we booked

    Rundown

    from

I had paid for reservations 2 months in advance and when we got there the picture they had on the website did not look anything like the motel. It was very rundown. And they did not have my reservation. I got my money back and lucky we were able to go to the Eoco lodge across the street and get a room. We went the last of April 2004

... 3:00 we got back into the motorhome and headed out for the 3 hours trip to Ft. Lauderdale airport. We had purchased a Sun Pass which allows us to go on the toll roads in Florida. So far we have determined that they are faster and seem to have less traffic. They also seem to be better maintained. We have it automatically loaded so when it runs past the $10.00 we already loaded into the account, it will load other $10.00. No need to stop at the toll booths at all ...

Disney world - the magic kingdom

Today was our first full on taste of the Disney World parks, starting where the heart of it is - at the magic kingdom. This is the one you automatically think of when you imagine Disney world with Cinderella's castle at the centre (the one at the beginning of all the Disney movies). As you enter the park through the parking barrier, the guy who has just robbed you of $17 says "have a magical day" and the grin automatically slides right on. We ...

... they would have just killed me and that I was lucky to be alive. Well that was certainly a wake up call and had a few decisions to make as to whether to stay out or come home or move somewhere else. In the end I took the actually very difficult decision of staying out there and not letting that experience be the lasting memory of the trip. This was helped by some really nice people - Claudia, Henry and Karenyna and an older Australian couple who were like parental figures in that time ...

... picket fences or some such. To me, it is a very soothing environment. The business area on Market Street has a similar 50's feel.

During our stroll through town we picked up a local newspaper. One of the sections was for real estate in that area. The prices ranged from around $350,000 to $2,800,00. I don't think I will be moving there any time soon!

... soup, vegetables, salad bars, and so many different sides! And a huge dessert bar. Danny went wild and returned to the bar multiple time for all disgusting fast food things all the same colour. It was shocking. I was so excited for some vegetables! I filled my plate up way too high but chose lots of yummy things, loads of different vegetables, some potatoes and some meat stew with a few chips on the side. It was a great choice for us ...
