    ... I'd expected them to be. So we ended up doing Shrek then heading for home. The trek back to the car was hard for me, but after getting home and a couple of drinks at the Tiki bar all was good again. Universal Studios was great, but one day was enough to do everything.

    We woke early, nicely refreshed this morning (except that my arm is mega sore from my tattoo!) and eager to get into Universal Islands of Adventure! We stopped around the corner to get some gas and then raced to the theme park to try and beat the crowds. We were lucky in this respect, and found ourselves at the head of the queue.     ... only been learning English for a month yet seems to speak it near flawlessly, but I cannot fit everything in, and I think I’ve already gone into too much detail. I sit here on the 3rd May, watching Basketball with some excitable yanks and wondering what it’s all about. A British girl and an Aussie girl turned up at the hostel today, and we’ve made cagey plans to go to Disneyworld together tomorrow. If that doesn’t happen, I will be most disappointed…
