We made it to Florida!! And the sun is shining, the sunglasses and sandals are out!!

I did not sleep well last night, downside to cheap motels I guess. Still, we thankfully didn't have as far to drive today and were in Orlando by lunch time. We stopped off at the Florida Welcome Center for our free orange juice and grabbed a stack of tourist brochures to help plan the next 12 days! It's ...

... not having eaten any dinner the previous night. There was absolutely every single breakfast choice know to mankind available. You name it, it was there. I had waffles with caramel sauce and they were divine. Adalia loved the hash browns and fruit salad. Samuel had a bit of everything. Tonight's offerings included a house salad with strawberry vinaigrette and hot rolls followed by roasted turkey, beef, ...

Once we got to replicated sets from Indiana Jones, she saw a jewel worth heisting and stopped the tram to get the prized gem. Warned by the spirits not to, as she reached out and touched it...poof! she was turned into a skeleton and our original tour guide returned to the tram. We went through sets replicating Casablanca, Public Enemy, Mary Poppins, Indiana Jones, Tarzan and the Wizard of Oz.

... I so love just laying in a tube, closing my eyes and just drifting around in the sun :).

In the afternoon after lunch the clouds rolled in and the weather turned. It was not looking good. As the weather deteriorated it was announced over the parks tanoy system that all the water rides and pools would be closed until the storm passed. It then gradually got darker and darker. As people started to pack up and head for shelter ...
