... us the speed of the wind had been downgraded, it became a bit calmer, so the ice rink was opened & the dads & older kids went ice skating, we had coffee at Starbucks & Deck 4 was opened for people to go outside. The captain also told us that it should be a lot calmer at night, so the girls were happy about that. Hmmmmm if only we knew!!A few of us went for a tour of the kitchen which was very interesting. On this ship, ...

Vanmorgen in alle vroegte richting Orlando International Airport vertrokken.

... We had rented the car using our RCI points, so a week's rental was only going to cost us 29 dollars, which was quite a good deal. We had paid for it on our VISA, which also covers the insurance. (Hint: If you rent using a credit card, often insurance is included so you may not have to pay the car rental for that).

After we had rented the car and loaded all our luggage, it was off to find Encantada ...

... turnstiles, Astro Blaster Exit, and I think that's it.

Tomorrow, I work from 12:15-9:30, and I thought it was until 10:30, so what a pleasant surprise! Some of my coworkers and I were talking about going to Pizzeria Uno for half-priced appetizers tomorrow, so hopefully we go there after work! I skyped with Megan, Sara, and Kyle, so that was just a dandy end to my day. I am heading to bed soon, so I'll write to you tomorrow! Have a magical ...

... igen kl 11.30 havde jeg kastet op 6
gange og havde det bestemt ikke godt. Heldigvis blev det lidt bedre da vi
begyndte at sejle. Der blev ikke rigtig fanget noget, udover at Randy fangede
en baby hammer haj.

Efter vi var tilbage på land og jeg havde det meget bedre,
lånte jeg den ene bil og kørte til Daytona for at møde familien Berts i deres

    Great hotel

    from cemAlbanyNy

April 19 2005. We stayed here one night on the way to Vero beach. Great pool, great pool bar! Room was very nice. Food was great. We payed $70 on Priceline.com. Sorry we couldn't stay longer.

    Very disappointed

    from aphie

Do not waste your time or money staying at this hotel! We booked our room several days in advance as we were picking up a guest at the airport and returning to the Orlando area later in the week. We reserved a non smoking double room and our credit card was charged. When we returned to the hotel on the evening of the reservation, all the non smoking rooms were gone. It was 11:00 pm, too late to start looking as we had a 7:00 am flight the next morning. The front desk had no apology and could have cared less. Our room reeked of smoke and the "elite status" membership got us a view of the roof. The phone had no cover switch plate and we were trying, in vain, to reach the front desk for a wake up call. There are lots of other choices for better hotels in the immediate area and we will never return to the Marriott. They have lost our business.

    Unhappy in Vail, Colorado

    Nice rooms

    from vickier

My 14 year old son and I stayed at this Marriott on March 26th before going back home on March 27th. It was conveniently located near the airport and the room was large and clean. The bathroom was spacious and the pool area was great. You could not hear the planes taking off and landing, but it was easy to hear other guests in the next room having a conversation. Other than being a little noisy, it was a nice hotel.

    Great stay!

    from Masonpips

We stayed on 12/26 after flying in from OK. The room was very nice and the facilities were lovely. The kids and my husband checked out the hot tub and pool (half inside, half out and heated as it was COLD for Florida) and I used the exercise room the next morning and it was great. The shuttle service from the airport was excellent and we had no issues checking in. We had used Priceline and our room rate was $57 including tax. I would definitely stay there again.

There is a Denny's, Bennigans, Tony Roma's and Chilis within walking distance and a very nice pond with a path around it right in front of the hotel.

    Bad experience

    from anonymous

We booked this hotel after flying into Orlando International and were very disappointed. They only had a King size bed available for four people! Our reservation was for four, but they obviously screwed up the reservation. It was New Years Eve and the pool, restaurant, and bar areas were closed for a private parties! Needless to say, we left and checked into Holiday Inn Select next door. What a difference! They had double beds available and all the amentites were open to hotel guests.

    Nice hotel but NOISY

    from anonymous

Stayed for one night prior to departure to airport. The room was great - good size, nicely decorated, comfortable beds with nice linens. Food from room service was well above average and competitively priced. Room was well insulated from outside noise, but the room to room sound insulation was appalling. We were woken by a family returning late evening and we could fully hear all their conversation, then again by a child crying - so loud it sounded like it was in our own room. Such a shame because the quality of the room and food was really very good. Would not stay again.

    Is it discrimination?

    from anonymous

I loved this hotel from outside and was excited to find out how the room was. I hoped it be as good as the airport marriot i stayed at in Toronto.

My dissappointment was to find out that they din't have any non-smoking room reserved for me. The receptionist was defensive enough to say that priceline only tells them to reserve 'a room'.

Not having any other option at 12:30 AM, I just accepted the room and spent most of the night adjusting with the smell.

I don't understand this, did anybody else have similar experience?

    Had a nice stay.

    from anonymous

All and all, we had a wonderfull stay at the Mariott Orlando Airport.

We used Priceline and paid $40 per night for a three night stay.

Staff was pleasant, room was clean, and pool area is great!

I would stay there again if returning to Orlando.

    Big problem working in lobby

    from anonymous

The hotel itself is not bad, but when you have to deal with "david" the concierge from hell, Watchout!!!

I requested a taxi to the downtown area, David calls a buddy who has a van who charges $15 more. Nice commision for David?

I refused the van, and again requested a taxi, David leaves to make a call, when he comes back he tells me its going to be a long time and has no idea how long its going to take for the taxi. This is when I return inside the hotel to get Phone# of taxi co., they have no record of the call. David calls another friend.

I request a taxi from Yellow taxi co. when another friend of David shows up in a taxi. I here David yelling out to me, in a very agressive manner, to take his budddy Taxi. " NO WAY"

Finally my taxi arrives and the driver informs me of David's reputation, while David is still acting in unrational manner. Mariott needs to retrain this worker in Public Relations.

Never Again Will I stay in this Hotel!!!

    Great Hotel!

We spent one night here recently before a cruise. We found the hotel to be beautiful and clean and the staff was very accomodating. We were able to get a great deal from Priceline and wereexcited about how nice this hotel was for the rate.
