... Westcliffe Hotel- overlooking the biggest man made forest in the world- originally all a savanah! Beautiful! This provided a great overview of the entire city. We then went for dinner at Franco's- yummy and talking lots about ghosts and out of body experiences- apparently this is a family thing!

Heading off to Pretoria tomorrow- Craig at the wheel- on the other side of the road- with me navigating- let the games begin!

... house came with 12-foot high concrete walls, barbed wires and electric fences. The Stapelburgs delightfully surprised me by preparing a Braai (South African for a barbecue) for a late lunch. The aroma of mutton chops and pork/lamb sausages was heavenly and went down smoothly with some ice cold Hansa beer, a local favourite. We chilled out at their self-erected laba for the rest of the afternoon as I wound down from the long trip.
