    ... bus circus. That's right, I said circus. Not much English here. We are however given the choice of two buses headed in different directions that will get us to the same place.     We arrived in Bodrum in Turkey and hopped aboard our Turkish Gulet. It's a traditional Turkish boat. Our captain was Oolash, his crewman was Uur and our Cook was Bydem.     So we walked around the marina from ferry to our Turkish Gulet - a traditional Turkish boat. Here we boarded and met our crew Oulash, uur and Bidem. After a little stroll around town, a delicious lunch and Scott partaking in a Turkish shave with cut-throat razor, we left port around 4pm for a couple of hours cruising until dinner.     ... construction of the tunnel took ten years and the slave tunnelers were incentivised by being promised their freedom on completion of the tunnel.

    Sadly the tunnel was closed for maintenance so we could not explore. I guess closing after 2700 years is reasonable performance.

    Samos is where Pythagoras was born and it seems others were just as clever.
