... wind and waves. There were times when the ferry was tipped in a 75 degree angle and all that would cross my mind was what goes up, must come down. It wasn't just up and down, it was side to side too. Picture the worst roller coaster you have even been on and now picture being on it for 4 hours. Within in the first 5 minutes, the crew was racing around distributing barf bags to everyone. People were hurling left and ...

... Akrotiri, but we didn't go onto it because it was all rocks. It looks ok but wasn't worth the time. We've seen volcanic beaches before and this one isn't that great. We had some burgers and roasted corn outside though and they were delicious.

We went back to the hotel and jumped in our private tub which fits about two people. Its a hot tub but isn't heated, so sitting in it during the day is the only option really. It was nice view and when the umbrella is ...

... rocky cliffs and small hidden coves. Where there is life, it is whitewashed houses and churches perched precariously up hill sides. Combined with the multi colours of the rocks, the green of the vegetation, and the bluest sea I have ever seen, it is just as you see in the pictures. And every so often, columns from an ancient ruin will be sitting on an outcrop, white marble and stone reaching ...
