... within about 3 days and 150 years before the end of the Minoan civilisation in Crete, so not likely to have been the immediate knock out blow. Weather has been a bit mixed with clouds and a few drops of rain around lunchtime but pleasant sunshine later. It is forecast to rain all tomorrow so we may have a dull day to fill. We had an interesting local wine this evening that was dark yellow and tasted of raisins. Finale was was my crown fell out again so I have a toothless grin at the ...

... stretch of black sand. I sat on what must of been an old jetty devouring my meal, watching everyone swim and fighting the wind which kept trying to steal my plastic bag. Lunch was amazing and although I had planned to save half of the jar of olives for the following day I managed to eat them all! I did feel a little sick afterwards but still managed to eat a chocolate icecream. After a stroll along the waters edge of the black beach and a mad dash across ...

... there were some red rocks, there were also a lot more grey rocks too. Slightly disappointed, we drove off to explore some of the smaller beaches over near Perissa. I was still driving at this point, and these roads were very fun! They were back roads that were nice and windy without very much traffic - awesome! We stopped in a little beach for a little bit, before Kyle drove us over to Perissa beach and we drove all the way along there. Perissa beach is also known as black ...
