        ... The whole process was inefficient and annoying. Of course, it was a Saturday. If we were to do it again, it would have to be a weekday.

        ... negotiating our way through some subdivisions and finally encounter the source of all wifi strength: McDonalds. We exit Troy after some good local recommendations. In an unexplained miracle, (aren't they all?), we cross some wide drain grates while passing quickly over a low-spot bridge that should have thrown us completely out of the saddle and into traffic, but amazingly we float over the top.         ... I get home.

        We were meeting our goal,to get off the road at 5:00, but we hit St Louis just before rush hour and then we found out there was a Ball Game at Busch Statdium. We went right by the statdium and we saw the St Louis Arch. I did get some great pictures.

        We finally got out of traffic and stopped in Troy, IL around 5:45 after going 500 miles. We pullled off at a Holiday Inn Express, took a shower and got some dinner. We bought ...
