          Our accommodation was about 30 mins south-east of Vaasa. The surrounding countryside is lovely, green and dotted with quaint old timber farmhouses, 90% of them painted a dark red colour. On Saturday, we went on a boat trip to the Kvarken Archipelago, a Unesco Natural World Heritage Site.           ... off for the Vaasa area. It was my turn to drive - a few silly moments of turning on the windscreen wipers instead of the blinkers, and changing gears with my right hand, however, we got here ok.           Bit tardy on updates but Internet is bust here so using phone.           Left Helsinki in bright sunshine. Arrived in next place and guess what; it's rained solid. Unit is very nice and the location is lovely. Next to a lake.
