      ... we left and were on our way home we stopped at a market. Mom and Andrea you would die... Persemons sold by the bags and strawberries sold by the kg as well as all sorts. Well 20 minutes later we walked out with R60 worth of fruit. Which included a huge bag of strawberries, gooseberries and pumpkin chips. Arriving home Ian and I are halfway through the gooseberries and almost finished the pumpkin chips. We are off to dinner and will write tomorrow from Phuket. Goodnight. ...

      I have been avoiding this blog because I don't think I have the words to describe this experience. We watched a safety video on the van ride up to the elephant nature park, which included a gruesome account of the method used to crush elephants into submission in order to be trained to be used in various tourist attractions such as trekking (riding on elephants' backs), begging on streets and performing for people by painting and playing musical instruments. ...

      ... land it was meant to be the end of the trek but it was only 2 o clock so jimmy asked if we had been to see the tigers yet. None of us had so he offered to take us there free of charge then drop us back to our hostel (which was lovely of him).
