... tiny cheap flight, which btw i (kirstie) will never be doing again!! Osaka was pretty stormy as we left so the turbulence didn't really stop for about 4 hrs...but a nice chinese man sent his wife to the other side of the aisle so that Ben and i could sit next to each other( stupid seats were at opposite side!) so i squeezed his hand on and off whilst almost being sick!.. We were cutting it ...

A final trip up to Sunshine Beach to look for whales migrating south but no luck - next time ! Once I'm home, I'm going to spend some time sorting out our photos and doing a final compilation of the best bits - by the way, there were no bad bits - but I ...

Another late start today. We spent time at the Australian Consulate in Guangzhou and got to talk to the Deputy Consul-General Julie-Anne Nichols about trade relations between Australia and China and the role of Austrade in this process. It was very interesting to see their viewpoints on the changes occurring as well as the students being given advice on what they should do in their university studies if they are thinking of getting into this arena. Taylah and Jack did a fabulous job ...
