... worth the price and the words “Eggs Benny”. So after I rolled my eyes, had an internal monologue bemoan the fact that the menu designer had put that on the menu, and waited for a bit with no hostess scurrying forth I gave up and headed over to Starbucks. I had meant to get a coffee while I was in Portland but my part of the terminal did not have one. ... and from start to finish the meal was everything they had set us up for and then some. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is very cool in a somewhat typical dimly lit steakhouse sort of way and the service was absolutely fantastic. ... did in 2007. Even though there was a strong breeze blowing on the upper deck, it turned out to be a warm, magical evening.

We returned to our wonderful hotel to our bags waiting for the final touches of packing. Our checked luggage had to be put out in the hallway before 3:30 in the morning for their pickup and transfer to the airport. (Another one of the nice touches of the www.travelwithalan.com umbrella) J

... and lost in 3. Jen Gabler from Westport Connecticut played extremely well and beat her opponent, also from Australia, 3-1. Kathy Cowper and Deb Hodes do not play until tomorrow. We returned to the flat, dropped our squash bags, and headed out for an afternoon of sightseeing in the heat of the day. I cannot even begin to explain how hot it is here. ... the end we flagged down another taxi for a trip to Stanley. Stanley is a small town on the water on the South side of HK Island. It has cute board walk restaurants with views of the small harbor. We enjoyed some pizza and salads as we watched tourists and expats with their dogs stroll by. It is also known for its market. Similar to the Lanes that we visited yesterday.
