... to get on the tram. We simply walked past the hundreds of other tourist waiting and hopped on the tram. The journey up to the Peak only took 8 minutes and we saw glimpses of the fabulous view on the way to the top. Once at the top, there was a view of the city which was better than expected. It was very hot so we couldn't couldn't see way out in the distance very clearly. We managed to take some reasonable photos, I think. Once altogether again we met the bus ...

We have arrived in Hong Kong and waiting to board our flight to London. Lucy and I had the coolest little meals last night. I tried chicken and rice for something different and Lucy had pasta. We had our own tv's and could watch movies all night. We slept on the plane with our new pillows and woke up just before we landed. Can't wait till London ...

... we loved Hong Kong. The city is easy to negotiate on efficient public transport, it is relatively clean and livable. The locals are very friendly with enough English spoken to get by in most situations. We would definitely return to complete the things we missed, but next time would stay for 7-10 days and stay somewhere between Wan Chai and Central district.
