... of property ownership and investments. The storm finally hit!! The wind blew, the rain pelted and it was time for us to move indoors and shelter from the onslaught outside. With free wifi, we used this time to send Viber messages back home and make some amendments to this blog. Many expats gathered and were also caught by the evenings' events. ... amazing - they look out over the mountains and river but with all the buildings as well.

We spent this evening looking for some bits and pieces for their apartment at Ikea and a few other places, bought an ironing board, and worked out how to take off the kitchen door (for more space). We just need to get the right sized Allen Key!

We've pumped up the air bed and are ready to get to work ...

After a much needed good night sleep it was off to another part of Hong Kong to visit the famous Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery via the Ngong Ping 360. Apparently people would go to these book stores and just sit and read all day (I know, it sounds like a library and they had those too but these were actual stores where people go and buy books), I'm sure a few were brought too. We visited a big park and also took pictures of a statue of Deng Xiao Ping. DXP is the man credited with opening up China. I can see life in Shenzhen being pretty chilled, we had a spot of tea, sat outside at a location that wouldn't be too dissimilar ...
