... to say we were pretty sad to have to leave but we appreciated every kindness he showed us as it settled us into Japan very quickly! Our next place to stay was also a couch-surfing host called Shobhit; however he was Indian so he is also a foreigner in the country like us!
We had already planned to reunite with our Japanese friend from the Zuk Farm, Natsuhi, so we set off in search of our destination getting pretty lost in the process and arriving almost an hour late!! ...
... the tuna auction was taking place, trying not to be run over by all those motorized carts everywhere. It was impressive to see the tunas on the floor, so large, some of them 300 kg. As they had been in dry ice, there was a kind of mysterious mist around them. All buyers were inspecting the meat from their tails and, for a moment I thought about all those reports on how tuna population is decreasing fast.
... any so we decided to make sure we would come back with heaps of time to get a table. Whilst we were here we went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride which had only just opened after a scheduled closure, it was lucky we did then because it was closed later on in the day. Since the park opened at 8am being a Saturday Andrew missed out on his morning coffee from the hotel coffee shop so we stopped at Cafe Orleans for what ended up being an average coffee but a delicious banana ...
... a Sulley cape which made me a bit warmer. The show was much better from the front, but there were still moments were I thought that there was no excellent viewpoint as it is designed to entertain from all around the harbour. We then went around the park taking heaps of night photos that Andrew wanted to take before going on our final ride, Journey of course. Before slowly (and against our will) leaving the park. Goodbye DisneySea you are an amazing park and I can't wait to visit you ...
... and attempted Snow Whites Scary Adventure but it was closed temporarily. We then continued in Fantasyland with a ride on Dumbo and Peter Pans Flight (another one I had never done before.) Continuing to go on rides Andrew had never been on before, we went next to Buzz Lightyears Astro Blasters which is always good fun. When we came out of the ride Mr and Mrs Incredible were outside getting some pictures so we got some too. Next we went through the castle. This one is ...
