... our guidebook. He had the meter running at 13RMB already but we didn’t want to make it a big deal. We knew we were close to the hotel but just could figure out exactly which way. It turned out to be only a km but still further than we wanted to walk. The meter was at 15RMB when we arrived and we gladly paid the outrageous $2.40 fare;)

Hi Everyone
When we first arrived in China we were told we would need to adjust to "China Time" which basically means things will happen in their own good time.....quite different from western cultures where we seem to run everything by the clock. so I have been very good about learning to wait for things to get done....my school computer wont work but I'm assurred it will be fixed very soon (this was 2 weeks ago) so I wait patiently and thank my lucky stars I bought ...

... tiger hidden dragon quaint rural village landscapes here ... it is all modern houses, high rise buildings, huge cities with unknown names popping up everywhere, all making European and other cities look old and tired.

We passed through about 4 cities that I have no idea what their names were, but they were huge and with skylines covered in construction cranes ... this place is booming!
