    ... only how to control the horse myself, and I a) did not understand, b) made it VERY clear that I did not want to do that, and that I don't know how to do that, and that I wasn't understanding his instructions. The horse would start to veer off into the ditch on the right, or the lake on the left. I kept on telling him, "Wo BU xiang, wo hai pa! Wo bu zhidao zenme zuo zhege! Wo HAI PAAAAA!!!!"     After that, we browsed through the mall for a while before going to Elise's grandparents' apartment for a lot of chatting, dinner, and then chatting and watching TV. Dinner was very good, and I especially liked the fried lotus root stuffed with pork. Oops. Then we came back to the hotel and I just showed Elise all the youtube videos she's missed out on in the past 3 months. :)

    ... for 15 minutes, you are pretty disgusting by the time you get to your air conditioned destination. :( But we got to the train station, and rode a high speed train to Nanjing. It went 337 km/hr! Oh my goodness!!!

    From Nanjing, we were picked up and driven to Ma'anshan, where Elise's family lives. They told us that the government used to charge 15Y (just over $2) to drive from Nanjing to Ma'anshan on the expressway, and now they charge 25Y ...
