    ... to board however Mim noticed our seat numbers and it turns out we were not sitting together. I was not having that for 9 hours, plus Mim looked like she was going to internally combust into tears.     A fairly uneventful 8 hour flight to Hong Kong before a 4 hour stopover at the airport. Immediately after getting off the plane, we were escorted to the desk to sort some issue with our entry visas - thankfully only took a few minutes. Then, I realised that Justin didn't have his jacket - he'd left it on the plane (he blamed me but it was all him!).     ... Hong Kong; 1) I'm not sure I will ever be able to use chopsticks (even a Chinese person couldn't teach me) 2) I'm not cut out for tai chi - too much balance required 3) Edinburgh is not that expensive in comparison to other cities 4) The Chinese love colour as much as me. 5) Tea without milk is not as bad as first thought, still don't like iced or lemon tea. 6) I can survive a grade 8 typhoon! 7) I can function on my own, in a foreign country... 8) ...

    ... on Saturday, followed by dinner at a Pakistani restaurant that served the nicest food. The guys her clubbed together and got me some really cute chopsticks, 3 roses and a traditional Chinese doll which was really nice of them. We went out after and met some awesome people from Hong Kong who kept throwing champagne at us which was great! Lovely people ...

    So yesterday I went into central, which is the main centre of Hong Kong island I went alone which was fine! I took the MTR to Hong Kong and then walked to central station and exited there. Was slightly terrifying as I has only a rough idea where I was going and there were lots of people around! When I stepped out of the station and into central was a scary but mind blowing also!
